The market service eIAM controls access to web applications, native mobile apps and web services of the Federal Administration and protects them against unauthorised access.
eIAM federates the electronic identities of different internal and external identity providers into federated identities for the target applications and enforces the required authentication strength. eIAM enables single sign-on (SSO) across multiple applications.
Optionally, eIAM can provide the connected applications with statements on the authorisations of the users. The so-called access management (authorisation system) corresponds to eIAM Service 7.
